Frequently asked questions
Getting started
Do I need an account to create a QR?
No. You design and test everything without signing up. We only ask for an account when you download, and your design is kept.
Which QR type should I pick?
Think about what you want people to see when they scan:
| A web page, your store or a form | Website |
| Your phone, email and socials so they save you | Digital card |
| Your restaurant's menu | Menu |
| Joining your WiFi without asking | WiFi |
| Messaging you directly | |
| Your tax details so they can invoice you | Tax details |
What is an editable QR?
It's a QR that opens a short address of ours, and that address sends people to your content. So you can change where it goes (another page, menu or PDF) without changing the dots on the printed QR.
How do I know my QR works?
Open your phone's camera and point it at the QR on screen or on a test print. If the prompt shows up and opens what you expected, it works. Try another phone too before printing a lot of them.

Which format should I download to print?
SVG or PDF for print shops, banners and anything large: they stay sharp at any size. PNG for social media, web and slides. JPG to send on WhatsApp or by email.
Watch in the video (0:57)How big should I print it?
At least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide for cards and labels. To scan from far away, measure the distance and divide it by 10: at 2 meters, a 20 cm QR.
Always keep the white border around the QR; frames already include it.
Can I add my logo and colors?
Yes. In the design step you pick a frame, colors, dot style and your logo (or one of the ready-made ones). The app checks on its own that your design still scans.
Watch in the video (0:29)I get a "doesn't scan well" warning. What do I do?
It happens when the colors are too similar or the logo covers too much. Use dark dots on a light background with more contrast, or make the logo smaller. The warning goes away once it scans well.

Can I change the link after printing?
Yes. Go to My QRs, open your QR and tap Edit. Change the address or content and save: the printed QR opens the new content right away.
Can I see how many people scan it?
Yes. In Insights you see how many times it was scanned per day, from which city and on which phone type. We can also email you a weekly summary.
Can I make several QRs?
Yes. QRs are unlimited with fair use (100 active as a guideline). If you need many at once, My QRs has bulk creation: upload a file with the list and get them all in a .zip.
Payments and invoices
How much does it cost?
$199 MXN per month or $1,668 MXN per year, VAT included. It includes unlimited QRs and scans (fair use), changes without reprinting and stats.
What happens to my QR if I cancel or a payment fails?
You get 3 days to fix the payment. Then the QR is paused: people who scan it see a notice, never another site. If you reactivate your plan, your QR works again just the same.
After 30 days paused its content is deleted. We email you before that.
How do I get my invoice (CFDI)?
In Team → Invoicing, save your details exactly as they appear on your Constancia de Situación Fiscal. From then on each charge is invoiced automatically and emailed to you. You can invoice a month's charges until the last day of that month.
How do I use a coupon?
When activating your plan, type the coupon in the "Have a coupon?" field and tap Apply. You'll see the discount before paying.

Can I invite my team?
Yes. In Team you invite people by email to work on your QRs. There you'll see how many seats your plan includes and what extra ones cost.
Can I use my own domain on my QRs?
Yes. In Team you can connect your own domain (for example qr.yourbrand.com) so your QRs use it instead of ours. There you'll see whether your plan includes it, like the Agency plan, or what it costs.
My account and safety
I forgot my password. How do I sign in?
On Sign in, tap "Email me a link": we'll send you an email with a link to sign in without a password. Open it in the same browser.
What data do you keep about people who scan my QR?
Only general data for each scan: date, approximate city and phone type. We don't know who the person is and we don't ask for their details. The Privacy notice has the details.
Is it safe to scan these QRs?
We check every QR's destination with Google Safe Browsing when it's created and every day. If a site turns dangerous, the QR is paused and people who scan it see a notice instead of the site.
